Iran military might
The leader of Islamic Revolution says hegemonic powers once helped Iraq impose a war on Iran but they are now seeking shelter from Iran’s military and pleading for an end to the war they started. In a message to mark the end of the 19-80’s Iraq-imposed war on Iran, Ayatollah Seyyed Mojtaba Khamenei said the US military does not dare to get close to the Strait of Hormuz thanks to the blows they received from the Iranian armed forces. He said they will soon have to leave the Arabian Sea. The leader noted that Iranians are ready to humiliate the enemies, adding that the nation insists on its legitimate rights including managing the Strait of Hormuz. Ayatollah Khamenei also commemorated the martyred Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah, praising him for bringing glory to Lebanon which was once a backyard of certain powers. He warned that those who, in the face of the Zionist enemy, pin their hopes on the false promises of domineering powers will soon be buried and forgotten, and will only be remembered as symbols of evil and perhaps betrayal.
'Aggressors to be hit hard'
Iranian Armed Forces warn any threat against Iran and the Resistance Front will face a devastating response, stressing that the Resistance remains united. In a statement published on the second anniversary of the martyrdom of late Hezbollah Secretary General Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah, Major General Abdollahi said attempts by the US and Israel to weaken the Resistance through his assassination have failed. He said the Resistance Front not only withstood the attack but achieved greater strategic unity across Lebanon, Palestine, Yemen, Iraq, and other parts of the region. General Abdollahi added that the path pursued by the late Resistance leader continues to be followed across the region. The general stressed that Iran’s Armed Forces stand by Resistance fighters, fully prepared to deliver a decisive response to any threat against the Muslim community.

Press TV correspondent Naqaa Hamed has been released by order of an Israeli military court. She was held in detention for nearly two weeks. Hamed had been held in Damon Prison after being abducted on September 15 at a checkpoint near Bethlehem. She was separated from her camera crew and transferred to an undisclosed facility where she was subjected to interrogation over her journalistic work. A Palestinian-American citizen and mother of three, Hamed has more than 15 years of experience covering political and humanitarian crises. Since joining Press TV in 2024, she has reported on violence against Palestinians by Israeli occupation forces and settlers.
