The Yemeni Foreign Ministry has vehemently condemned the recent slaughter of innocent Palestinians in the Gaza Strip, saying that certain Arab regimes are accomplices in the Israeli war crimes and should be held accountable.

In a statement released on Wednesday, the ministry condemned the death of six Palestinians, including a child, and the injury of over 12 others in an Israeli drone strike that targeted a crowded cafe in the port of Gaza City the previous day, describing the inaction and complicity of Arab regimes as the main reason behind the continuation of Israeli barbarity.

The Yemeni ministry emphasized that the vicious drone attack adds to the dark record of Israeli atrocities, arguing that the occupying Tel Aviv regime would not have perpetrated such brutalities if it were not for the passivity and complicity of some Arab regimes and certain political parties in the region.

“Anyone who relies on Americans to cease the crimes of the Israeli enemy is just like someone who seeks shelter from the scorching sun and finds himself inside a raging fire,” the statement read.

The statement noted that statements of condemnation and denunciation will never manage to stop barbaric Israeli crimes against Palestinians.

“Americans have effectively given Zionists the carte blanche in this regard, and continue to cover up the daily massacres in [the occupied] Palestinian territories,” the Yemeni ministry stated.

The ministry highlighted that the deadly Israeli drone strike on a crowded Gaza café took place following lengthy talks between Jared Kushner, Donald Trump's son-in-law and West Asia envoy, and Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, and amid expectations that the United States and mediators would force Israel to implement the provisions of the Gaza ceasefire agreement.

The Gaza Health Ministry said on Wednesday that another seven Palestinians were killed and 23 others wounded in the Gaza Strip over the past 24 hours, raising the death toll from Israel’s genocide in the blockaded coastal territory since October 2023 to more than 73,400.

A number of victims remain trapped under rubble and on roads, with ambulance and civil defense crews still unable to reach them, the ministry added.

According to the ministry, at least 1,270 Palestinians have been killed and over 4,220 others injured, as the Israeli army continues to violate the October 2025 ceasefire through shelling and gunfire across different parts of the Gaza Strip.

The ministry said the overall death toll from Israel’s genocide in the territory has passed the 73,400 mark, with at least 174,335 wounded.
