June 8: Iran suspends 'Operation Nasr' after 'painful response' to Zionist regime over Lebanon aggression

By Press TV Website Staff

Iranian armed forces announced the suspension of "Operation Nasr" after giving a "painful response" to the Zionist regime for its acts of aggression against Lebanon.

It came after the Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC) carried out retaliatory missile strikes on the Nevatim and Tel Nof airbases and other targets in the occupied territories.

Iranian officials reaffirmed the country’s determination to defend its security and regional red lines, while resistance movements across the region welcomed the latest retaliatory strikes.
