By Press TV Website Staff

Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyyed Mojtaba Khamenei, in a message marking the 37th anniversary of Imam Khomeini’s passing on Thursday, said enemies have shifted to “hybrid warfare” after suffering defeat on the battlefield.

A massive ceremony commemorating the passing anniversary of the founder of the Islamic Revolution was held at his mausoleum in Tehran in the presence of senior officials.

At the same time, millions of Iranians took part in nationwide Eid al-Ghadir celebrations, renewing their allegiance to the Leader of the Islamic Revolution.

Meanwhile, the Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC) rejected claims that Iran’s armed forces had targeted Kuwait International Airport during their retaliatory operation.

The IRGC also called for an immediate halt to Israeli attacks on Lebanon, while reaffirming that any ceasefire agreement must include all fronts.

Iran’s UN mission also issued a statement on accountability for US-Israeli attacks on children.
