Iran launched a barrage of missiles at Israeli-occupied territories on Sunday in response to continued ceasefire violations by the regime in Lebanon.
Khatam al-Anbiya Headquarters, the central command of the Iranian armed forces, warned of more "crushing and remorseful blows" should Israeli attacks on Lebanon continue.
The Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC) said its aerospace force struck the Ramat David airbase in response to continued Israeli attacks on Lebanon, including strikes on Beirut’s southern suburbs.
Earlier, Parliament Speaker Mohammad Baqer Qalibaf said US and Israeli bases and assets in the region had become legitimate targets following the attacks by the US and Israel.
The day also saw warnings to the US from regional resistance groups, and commemorations for the victims of the Minab school massacre.
Key developments on day 100 of the war, the 60th day of the ceasefire:
- Iranian armed forces launched a missile barrage at Israeli-occupied territories on Sunday, responding to persistent Israeli attacks on Lebanon in breach of the ceasefire. Sirens blared in wide areas, including the occupied Golan Heights, Tiberias, Safed, Nazareth, Haifa, and several other cities.
- Khatam al-Anbiya Headquarters, the central command of the Iranian armed forces, warned of more "crushing and remorseful blows" should Israeli attacks on Lebanon continue.
- The IRGC said that its aerospace force struck the Ramat David airbase with ballistic missiles, identifying the facility as the launchpad for Israeli aggression against southern Lebanon, including the bombing of Tyre, Nabatieh and Beirut’s southern suburbs.
- The Israeli regime carried out fresh attacks on southern Beirut despite US objections that such strikes could provoke an Iranian response and derail diplomatic efforts to end the war.
- Several media outlets, including Axios and Israel's Channel 12, reported that Donald Trump told them he is calling Benjamin Netanyahu to tell him not to respond to Iran’s strikes
- Speaker Qalibaf said the United States and the Israeli regime only understand the "language of power," as Washington continues its naval blockade on Iran while greenlighting Israeli aggression against Lebanon.
- Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Aragchi held telephone calls with counterparts from the UK, Turkey, Qatar, Iraq, France and Saudi Arabia, as well as Pakistani army chief Asim Munir, following Iran’s response to the repeated violations of the ceasefire in Lebanon by Israel.
- The commander of the IRGC Aerospace Force Brigadier General Majid Mousavi, issued a recorded video message of gratitude to the Iranian people, hailing their steadfast presence across arenas over the past 100 days, which "disappointed the enemy."
- Mohsen Rezaei, a senior advisor to the Leader of the Islamic Revolution, warned that any violation of ceasefires or acts of aggression against the Axis of Resistance will be met with a decisive and crushing response, underscoring the Islamic Republic’s commitment to defending Lebanon and Palestine.
- Pakistan’s Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi delivered a message from Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and Army Chief Asim Munir, addressed to Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyyed Mojtaba Khamenei.
- Iran said the ongoing negotiations with the United States remain stalled primarily because of Washington's "changing and contradictory" positions and constantly "moving the goal posts," although the exchange of messages continues through Pakistani mediators.
- Kata'ib Hezbollah, one of the prominent factions within the Iraqi Islamic Resistance, issued a warning to the US, declaring that any American intervention on behalf of the Israeli regime will have catastrophic consequences.
- Following Israeli strikes on Dahiyeh in Beirut, Ebrahim Rezaei, spokesman for the Iranian parliament’s National Security and Foreign Policy Commission, said the country’s Armed Forces will carry out a “decisive and painful response” to Israel’s attack on Beirut’s southern suburbs.
- Mohsen Zanganeh, a member of parliament’s Planning and Budget Commission, stated that vessels passing through the Strait of Hormuz are paying an average of $1.5 million to $2 million under a newly implemented maritime services plan, a report says, the Fars News Agency reported.
- Ali Akbar Velayati, a senior adviser to the Leader of the Islamic Revolution, condemned the massacre of children in wars, saying the killing of a kid anywhere in the world amounts to the killing of all children. He was addressing a memorial ceremony for the 168 Iranian children killed in illegal US-Israeli strikes on a school in Minab.
- Iran’s Foreign Ministry spokesman Esmaeil Baghaei paid tribute to the victims of the Minab school massacre in southern Iran, saying it is just one example among hundreds of crimes committed by the United States and Israel against Iranians.
- The European Union's foreign policy chief, Kaja Kallas, called for "full accountability" after another UN Interim Force in Lebanon (UNIFIL) peacekeeper was killed in Lebanon.
