Iran’s Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi says the ministry is committed to international marketing and supporting the export of Iranian technology products, particularly in the field of renewable energy.
Speaking on the sidelines of a specialized exhibition on green technologies and clean energy at the Isfahan International Exhibition Center on Thursday, Araghchi described scientific advancements in Isfahan province in renewable energy and replacing fossil fuels with clean energy as very promising.
“Today, renewable energies have become one of the world’s main priorities, and the active presence of Iranian companies in this field, along with achieving new technologies, reflects the country’s high scientific capacity in global competition,” he said.
Araghchi highlighted that joint investments by public and private sectors in clean energy are promising, and that the foreign ministry sees it as its duty to facilitate technology transfer and strengthen scientific links between Iranian universities and reputable international centers.
Expressing satisfaction with the capabilities of companies that have reached the export stage, he underlined that the ministry’s economic diplomacy department will fully support these entities.
He listed support for Iranian technology companies’ participation in international exhibitions, facilitation of connections with foreign partners, and marketing of knowledge-based products as priority measures, which he said will smooth the path for high-quality Iranian goods to enter global markets.
The minister’s one-day visit to Isfahan was carried out to coordinate and consult with the province’s executive and economic bodies, and included a variety of programs such as a meeting with the province’s economic activists at the Chamber of Commerce.
