FBI turning into ‘rudderless ship’ under Kash Patel: Report

FBI Director Kash Patel is experiencing significant internal dissent, as a damning new report from a coalition of active-duty and retired bureau personnel critiques his first six months in leadership.

The 115-page assessment labels his leadership as “dismal” and suggests that the FBI is “all f---ed up” under his direction.

The report portrays the FBI as a “rudderless ship” led by a director deemed inexperienced, alongside his deputy, Dan Bongino, whom internal critics characterize as “something of a clown.”

Insiders have expressed concerns that Patel “is in over his head,” with one describing him as “not very good” and lacking the “measured self-confidence” necessary for such a high-profile position.

Additionally, the report highlights a culture of mistrust and uncertainty created among the ranks under Patel's leadership.

This criticism follows scrutiny of his use of government aircraft for personal trips, assigning a SWAT team for his partner's protection, and reported conflicts with senior Trump administration officials.

Notably, Patel has been criticized for making “premature public remarks” during ongoing investigations, including comments following the assassination of activist Charlie Kirk.

Agents believe Patel and Bongino are more focused on online posturing than on professional responsibilities.

A special agent of more than 20 years also blasted Attorney General Pam Bondi and the FBI over the handling of the Jeffrey Epstein files.

Epstein operated a Mossad-backed blackmail ring involving underage girls, and shared deep ties to Israeli leaders, US presidents, and billionaires.

Patel is now facing a wave of internal revolt.

The findings land just days after the White House denied reports that President Trump was preparing to fire Patel.
