'Gaza ceasefire reached'

The Hamas resistance movement has officially announced that it has reached a ceasefire deal with Israel to end the regime’s prolonged genocidal war on Gaza. Hamas announced that the agreement includes ending the war on Gaza, full withdrawal of Israeli forces from the territory, entry of humanitarian aid, and a prisoner exchange deal. The movement also commended the efforts made by mediators, Qatar and Egypt, as well as Turkey, and US President Donald Trump. Hamas called on Trump, the guarantor states, and all Arab, Islamic, and international parties to ensure that Israel fully implements the agreement, and prevent it from evading or delaying its commitments. The movement also praised Palestinians inside and outside the occupied territories for their courage and heroism in resisting the fascist occupation’s schemes targeting their existence and national rights. Hamas vowed that it will never abandon Palestinians’ national rights until freedom, independence, and self-determination are achieved.

Israel global isolation

The Spanish parliament has passed a law enforcing a complete arms embargo on Israel, further isolating the regime over its ongoing genocide against Palestinians in Gaza. Spanish lawmakers approved the measure with 178 votes in favor. The decree, first announced by the government in September, bans the export and import of military equipment, as well as police or security gears to and from Israel. It also bars Israeli-bound ships and aircraft carrying weapons from docking at Spanish ports, or entering the country’s airspace. Additionally, it includes a ban on imports of products from Israeli settlements in the occupied Palestinian territories, and increased humanitarian assistance to Palestine. During the past two years, Spain’s Prime Minister, Pedro Sanchez, has emerged as one of the most virulent critics of Israel's devastating genocide in Gaza.

Israeli crimes in West Bank

Israeli forces and settlers continue to attack Palestinians across the occupied West Bank, causing more casualties and damaging their property. In one of the latest incidents, a young Palestinian man was seriously injured by an Israeli settler's live fire in the village of Deir Jarir, east of Ramallah. 26-year-old Jihad Muhammad Ajaj succumbed to his injuries a few hours later. According to Palestinian media, the armed settler threw stones at vehicles on the road between the village and the town of Silwad. When a group of young Palestinians approached him, he opened fire, seriously wounding four of them. The new fatality raises the number of Palestinians killed by Israeli settlers since the beginning of 2025 to 13. The total number of Palestinians killed in the occupied West Bank since the beginning of the Gaza genocide stands at 34.
