US drone destroyed
Iran’s Islamic Revolution Guards Corps says it has shot down another US MQ1 drone over the Strait of Hormuz. In a short statement, the IRGC said two such drones were targeted and destroyed in the area in the past 24 hours. It added that over the past days, four MQ1 drones were shot down over the Hormuz Strait. The Iranian armed forces have shot down scores of American drones and other aircraft, including MQ 9 Reapers, since the imposed US-Israeli war on Iran began in February. Some days ago, Iran also seized a US military underwater drone in the Hormuz Strait.
Iran Iraqi Kurdistan ties
Iraq’s Patriotic Union of Kurdistan and Iran have reaffirmed their commitment to expanding economic ties and cooperation for border security and combating terrorism. Iranian Foreign Minister Seyyed Abbas Araghchi held talks with the PUK President Bafel Talabani in Tehran. He stressed Iran’s readiness to expand trade and economic ties with Iraq’s Kurdistan Region. Araghchi also warned that Iran’s Kurdish friends as well as regional countries should remain vigilant against false-flag schemes aimed at creating division among neighboring countries. Talabani, for his part, described Iran as the strongest and ever-present supporter of the Iraqi people, pledging to strengthen political, security and economic ties. He said Baghdad and the Kurdistan Region would not allow Iraqi territory to become a safe haven for groups threatening Iran or other regional countries.

Press TV's west Bank correspondent Naqaa Hamed has just been arrested by the Israeli regime’s forces near Bethlehem. She along with her camera crew were stopped at a flying checkpoint near the town of Tuqu, southeast of Bethlehem. The regime’s forces searched them and then took Naqaa into custody. This, after weeks of incitement against her by Israeli settlers.
