Condemning US-backed terrorism

Iran's Islamic Revolution Guards Corps has strongly condemned the recent acts of terrorism committed during violent riots across the country. The IRGC called on all Iranians to take active part in nationwide protests scheduled to be held on Monday. The IRGC emphasized that, like previous acts of sedition by the country’s enemies, the recent seditious crimes committed by terrorists, who are supported by the US and Israel, will end in total failure. It added that the crimes committed by armed terrorists in recent days, and the martyrdom of hundreds of people and security forces, are an extension of the 12-day military aggression against Iran by the US and Israel. The IRGC said the US and Israel are trying to take revenge on the Iranian nation for their historical defeat in that aggression. It stressed that the clownish and criminal president of the United States, supports violence and modern terrorism in Iran with support from Western media and countries, as well as the racist prime minister of the fake Zionist regime. The IRGC slammed Donald Trump's blatant intervention in Iran's internal affairs and his insults to Iranians, stressing that he must await a crushing response from the resistant Iranian nation.

Slamming US support of terrorists

The Iranian foreign minister has slammed Washington’s double standards when dealing with violent protests in the United States and other countries. Abbas Araghchi was referring to President Donald Trump's support for violent rioters in Iran while allowing harsh treatment of peaceful protesters on US soil. Araghchi said there is decisive evidence linking deadly and violent riots in Iran to terrorists associated with Israel’s Mossad. He was referring to a social media post by former US Secretary of State Mike Pompeo, in which he admitted that Mossad agents are walking the streets of Iran alongside rioters. Araghchi said Iranian police officers are being executed by actual terrorists, overseen by what Pompeo has openly called Mossad agents. He questioned whether the US government would tolerate such brutality within its own borders. Araghchi also pointed out that the Trump administration fully endorses police brutality in the US, labeling it 'self-defense,' while calling on other countries to remain silent in the face of violent rioters. He cited the recent killing of a young woman by a US immigration agent in the city of Minneapolis, where Trump supported the agent, labeling the victim a 'domestic terrorist’.

US-Cuba tensions

The Cuban president has firmly rejected US President Donald Trump's threat against his country, stressing that Havana is prepared to defend itself 'to the last drop of blood'. President Miguel Diaz-Canel made the comment after Trump claimed that no more Venezuelan oil or money will go to Cuba following abduction of President Nicolas Maduro. He said the island nation should strike a deal with Washington before it is too late. The Cuban president retorted by emphasizing that Cuba is a free, independent, and sovereign nation, and no one has the right to dictate what is should do. He added that Cuba has been attacked by the US for 66 years, and is now ready to defend itself against any threat. Cuban Foreign Minister Bruno Rodriguez said for his part the country has the right to import fuel from any suppliers willing to export it. He also denied that Cuba has received financial or other "material" compensation in return for security services provided to any country. strike authorized by US President Donald Trump six years ago. Elsewhere in his speech, Sheikh Qassem argued that Iran's support for Lebanon is selfless, as both share the same objectives of liberation, justice, and regional stability. He contrasted this with American and Arab colonialist interventions for their own benefit. Sheikh Qassem stressed that Hezbollah seeks to ensure Lebanese sovereignty by ending Israeli aggression, a full Israeli withdrawal, reconstruction, and retrieving hostages. He also called for national unity to confront the common enemy.
