At least three people have been killed after a bus rammed into people standing in line at a bus stop in Stockholm, Sweden.
"There are both injured and deceased people in the incident. Police are for the moment not commenting on the number, gender or ages of the victims," police said in a statement on Friday.
It added that they had no information pointing to the incident being a terrorist attack.
Police spokesperson Nadya Norton told AFP the cause of the crash is still unknown.
"The investigation will have to determine what happened. It's too early to say and I don't want to speculate," Norton said.
The spokesperson said the bus driver had been arrested and a manslaughter investigation had been opened as a matter of routine.
"We need to question him, then we'll see if he's going to be released or detained," she added.

A spokesperson for Stockholm's rescue services said there were six casualties in the incident. The spokesperson added that there were no passengers on the double-decker bus at the time of the incident, which occurred near the Royal Institute of Technology university, the largest, oldest, and with the highest number of international students, technical university in Sweden.
"We do not yet know the cause of this, but right now my thoughts are foremost with those who have been affected and their families," said Prime Minister Ulf Kristersson in a post on X.
Images in Swedish media showed a swarm of police, rescuers, ambulances and emergency vehicles at the scene where the red double-decker bus crashed during the afternoon rush hour.
