Gaza rising death toll

The Israeli regime continues its genocide in Gaza, with the focus of its attacks remaining on Gaza City. Israeli warplanes targeted areas near Safad School in the Al-Zaytoun neighborhood of Gaza City, injuring a number of children. A residential block in the al-Sabra neighborhood was also struck, leaving dozens of civilians dead or wounded. Meanwhile, the Israeli army issued forced evacuation orders for a school in Gaza City that is sheltering hundreds of displaced people. In 24 hours alone, over 60 Palestinians have been killed and scores of injured aid seekers have been transferred to hospitals. At least 65,340 people have been killed with over 166,790 injured since the regime began its genocide in October 2023. A large number are believed to be still under the rubble.

Israel warned over West Bank annexation

European officials warning Israel against annexation plans following moves toward recognition of the state of Palestine. European leaders have warned Tel Aviv against annexing parts of the West Bank after the UK, Australia, and Canada formally recognized Palestinian statehood on Sunday, a historic move that challenged the Trump administration’s stance and drew a sharp Israeli response. Benjamin Netanyahu, Israel's prime minister has condemned the recognition and vowed to continue expanding settlements while far-right Israeli ministers pushed for full annexation of the West Bank. European officials including the UK’s Foreign Secretary Yvette Cooper and Germany’s government spokesperson have cautioned Israel that further annexation would harm peace efforts, urging restraint amid the invasion of Gaza. This comes after nearly two years of genocidal war on Gaza which European states fueled by selling arms to the Israeli regime.
