US.-Israel Gaza genocide
It’s been another deadly day in the besieged Gaza Strip, as the US-Israeli genocide against Palestinians continues unabated. Several people lost their lives after Israeli warplanes bombed a residential building in a town near Khan Yunis. Also, in an attack on the Bureij refugee camp in central Gaza, at least one person was killed. Meanwhile, another Palestinian journalist was killed in a strike on Gaza City. That brings to over 220 the total number of journalists killed in the genocidal war. The death toll from the US-Israeli genocide in Gaza since October 2023 has risen above 54,410. At least 124,190 others have been wounded so far.
Attacks on Gaza aid sites
Palestinian resistance movements have slammed Israel’s deadly attacks on thousands of civilians near distribution centers in southern and central Gaza. Hamas denounced the massacre as proof of the Israeli regime’s fascist nature, adding that opening fire on civilians exposes premeditated intent to commit the crime. The group held both Israel and the U-S administration fully responsible for the carnage and the use of starvation as a weapon of war against Palestinians. It also called on the U-N to form an independent international commission of inquiry to enter Gaza, investigate the systematic crimes, and hold those responsible as war criminals. The Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine issued a separate statement. It slammed the killing of starving Palestinians as a genocidal act with QUOTE international complicity and American participation. One of Sunday's attacks on aid distribution sites killed at least 31 people in Rafah.
Yemen anti-Israel operations
The Yemeni armed forces say they have launched fresh attacks on a number of Israeli positions, including Ben Gurion airport. Saree said the Yemeni Armed Forces are also working to impose a complete ban on air traffic at the Ben Gurion airport. The spokesperson said the remaining airlines that have not yet complied with the ban should take this into consideration to preserve the safety of their aircraft and customers. He also reiterated that Yemeni operations will not cease until the aggression against the Gaza Strip stops and the siege of the Palestinian territory is lifted.
