Yemeni armed forces have dealt a severe blow to Saudi troops in the country’s northern province of al-Jawf, amid escalating fighting between the two sides.
The media bureau of Yemen's Operations Command Center broadcast on Saturday video footage of operations targeting reinforcements and vehicles of Saudi forces in the al-Yatama district of the province.
The footage showed Saudi troops in panic running around to escape the attacks, before military vehicles went up in flames following a series of strikes by Yemeni military units.
Military vehicles and an armored personnel carrier (APC) were seen after Saudi forces retreated from the area in northeastern Jawf.
The Yemeni fighters also confiscated weapons, ammunition and other equipment from Saudi troops, the video footage showed.
