People in Tunisia, Libya, and Turkey have held rallies to condemn Israeli crimes against Palestinians in the Gaza Strip, where the regime is waging a genocidal war and deliberately starving its 2.3 million population to death.
The protests in Tunisia took place outside the US and Egyptian embassies on Saturday, with the participants demanding an immediate end to the inhumane Israeli blockade on Gaza.
They also said that the Israeli siege is a political decision and that it must be answered with grassroots actions.
In Libya, demonstrators gathered in front of the Egyptian embassy in Tripoli, calling for the reopening of the Rafah border crossing and the delivery of humanitarian aid to people in the Gaza Strip.
In Turkey, a protest was held outside the Israeli consulate in Istanbul against the Israeli genocide and starvation of Palestinians in Gaza.
Israel unleashed its brutal Gaza onslaught on October 7, 2023, after the Hamas resistance group carried out its historic operation against the occupying entity in retaliation for the regime’s intensified atrocities against the Palestinian people.
The Tel Aviv regime has so far failed to achieve its declared objectives of eliminating Hamas and freeing all captives in Gaza, despite killing 59,733 Palestinians, mostly women and children, and injuring 144,477 others.
A mass starvation is also gripping Gaza due to Israel’s total blockade of the territory that prevents the entry of all essential supplies.
The UN and humanitarian organizations say Israel is using food as a weapon of war in flagrant violation of international law.
