The commander of the Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC) Quds Force says he has received messages from Resistance Front officials pledging their allegiance to Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyyed Mojtaba Khamenei.
In a post on his X account on Wednesday, Brigadier General Esmail Qa'ani said men from the Resistance Front demonstrated unity across all fronts by issuing written "declarations of all-out loyalty" after Ayatollah Khamenei directed the armed forces to respond to any threat swiftly and "without geographical limits."
Their letters, Qa'ani said, showed that resistance commanders from across the region had received the Leader's command at the highest level and made it operational.
"Praise be upon the brave men on the front line of Islam's dignity," he said.
At a meeting with Iran's top military brass last week, Ayatollah Khamenei directed senior commanders to prepare to deliver an immediate and powerful response to any threat by the United States and Israel without "geographical limitations."
In a message on Wednesday, the Leader again warned of a broader response to any new act of aggression against Iran, and praised "powerful acts of heroism" by the Resistance Front – from Palestine and Lebanon to Iraq and Yemen.
Ayatollah Khamenei, Commander-in-Chief of the Iranian Armed Forces, said that Iran’s control over the Strait of Hormuz and attacks on US military bases across the region were retaliation for US aggression against the country.
"Should those aggressions be repeated, the response will be much more extensive," the Leader warned.
Following Ayatollah Khamenei’s decree, senior Iranian military officials warned that any new aggression against Iran would trigger a response "broader and more powerful" than before.
They have since insisted that if a new war breaks out, it would not be confined to the West Asia region, as in the two previous wars, and that the Iranian armed forces are updating their "target bank" in accordance with the new instructions.
