Houthi: US-Saudi strikes on Iraq part of 'Greater Israel' agenda

Yemen's Ansarullah leader Abdulmalik al-Houthi has condemned the joint US-Saudi military aggression against Iraq, warning that the attacks are part of a broader Zionist-American project to establish a "Greater Israel" and reshape West Asia.

In a televised address Thursday, al-Houthi declared that any Arab collaboration with this agenda constitutes "apostasy", vowing to maintain Yemen's "siege for a siege" strategy against Saudi Arabia.

"We denounce and condemn the unjust US-Saudi aggression, and we affirm our complete solidarity with the dear Iraqi people, its security institutions, and its esteemed mujahideen at all levels of support and stance," al-Houthi said.

He emphasized that the enemies of Islam are targeting human society at large through their criminal, savage, and oppressive conspiracies.

He described the attacks not as isolated incidents, but as part of a broader, explicit Zionist and American campaign to reshape West Asia.

Houthi said the overarching objective of the current regional aggression as the establishment of a "Greater Israel" and the fundamental alteration of West Asia's demographic and political landscape.

He warned that this agenda ultimately threatens the entire region, including the very regimes that currently serve US interests.

"The Zionist and American movements are in a hot conflict with our Ummah, more aggressive than ever before," he noted, explaining that attacks on Iran, Lebanon, Palestine, and Syria are all calculated efforts to remove any obstacles standing in the way of this hegemonic plan.

A senior member of the Yemeni Supreme Political Council has warned the country’s enemies that a humiliating defeat awaits them.

He described the United States as a greedy, colonial force that arrived from "the ends of the earth" to occupy, kill, loot, and strip the region's peoples of their freedom and wealth, acting entirely within the framework of the Zionist project.

In one of the most striking segments of his address, al-Houthi warned that the Zionist plan contains no exceptions and will ultimately discard its collaborators.

"The Zionist plan is undoubtedly a danger to the entire Ummah; it makes no exceptions whatsoever, not even for those who serve America," he warned.

He described loyalty to the enemy, whether military, economic, or media-based, as a "deviant path" and a "state of apostasy and regression" that overturns Islamic values, principles, and ethics.

"The Zionist view of those who pledge loyalty to them is one of contempt, exploitation, and humiliation. They are merely tools to be used and then eliminated," he asserted.

To illustrate the contempt with which the US and Israel view their regional partners, al-Houthi cited a recent statement by US President Donald Trump, who described Saudi Arabia as a "milk cow" to be milked until it runs dry, and then slaughtered.

Al-Houthi also condemned Saudi Arabia for serving the objectives of the Zionist regime, asserting that Riyadh, despite claims of supporting the Islamic Ummah, moves under the US-Israeli umbrella.

He said the kingdom has been intensifying Yemen's siege over the years, depriving the Yemeni people of national resources, revenues, and basic services with American support.

He further stated that Saudi Arabia has financed divisive and seditious projects that lead to bloodshed and division within the Islamic Ummah, and that every sedition that leads to bloodshed and division in the Islamic Ummah has been financed by Riyadh.

He noted that after Ansarullah's support for Palestine during Operation Al-Aqsa Storm, Saudi Arabia intensified Yemen's siege and even intercepted Yemeni missiles and drones fired toward occupied territories.

He reiterated Ansarullah's support for Palestine during Operation Al-Aqsa Storm and condemned Saudi Arabia for its actions.

Turning to the situation in Palestine, al-Houthi highlighted ongoing violations of international law by Israeli occupation forces, pointing out that despite supposed ceasefire agreements, the slaughter in Gaza has continued unabated, with over 1,000 martyrs and 3,000 wounded during the period of the agreement alone.

He also warned of "dangerous indicators" that Israel is actively preparing to indirectly destroy parts of the Al-Aqsa Mosque through extensive and highly dangerous excavation work beneath the holy site, while relying on complicit regional governments to dilute global outrage through media distortion.

Al-Houthi called upon the Islamic Ummah to awaken to the "clear, exposed, and explicit" nature of the Zionist threat, urging Muslim nations to act based on their divine principles, values, and ethics to secure God's support and victory, rather than following the "deviant direction" of regimes that are subjugated to the enemies of the Ummah.

"The enemy possesses nothing but corruption on earth and false misguidance," he stated.

"Cooperation with the Zionist entity is cooperation in an escalating campaign against our Islamic Ummah, the Palestinian people, Al-Aqsa, the Lebanese people, and the broader region. The responsibility to confront this lies with all of us."

He further emphasized that maintaining an independent Islamic leadership is essential to safeguard the Muslim nation's sovereignty, counter foreign intervention, and resist Western media and cultural deception.

Al-Houthi affirmed that the enemy possesses nothing but corruption and false misguidance, and vowed to establish and solidify the equation of "siege for a siege" against Saudi Arabia, signaling an escalation in Yemen's response to the kingdom's policies.

"To establish the equation of siege against siege, we will take action," he declared.

Houthi’s remarks come in the immediate aftermath of joint US-Saudi airstrikes targeting Popular Mobilization Units bases and Arbaeen pilgrim service stations in Iraq.

The attacks, which Iraqi officials report have left dozens dead and wounded, were justified by Washington and Riyadh as "retaliation" for drone attacks on their forces and infrastructure.

However, the Iraqi resistance and its regional allies view these strikes as a blatant violation of Iraqi sovereignty and a continuation of the US-Israeli-Saudi axis's broader campaign to destabilize the Axis of Resistance, which includes Iraq, Syria, Lebanon, Yemen, and Iran.
