The death toll from Israel's genocidal war on Gaza has surpassed 73,000 after Israeli occupation forces killed another eight Palestinians in the besieged territory.
The Health Ministry said on Tuesday that hospitals across Gaza received the bodies of eight people and treated 26 others injured over the past 24 hours.
Among those killed in a new wave of Israeli attacks on the southern and central Gaza Strip were two children.
Several victims remain trapped under the rubble and on the roads, with ambulance and civil defense crews still unable to reach them, the ministry added.
Gaza's health authorities and relief workers reported on Monday night that, in one of the attacks, an Israeli drone targeted a gathering of civilians, killing three people, including an eight-year-old child.
The Gaza Civil Defense organization also said that two people were killed in an Israeli airstrike on a tent in Khan Yunis.
Another Israeli strike in the town of Qarara, northwest of Khan Yunis, killed a 31-year-old man.
Meanwhile, officials at Nasser Hospital said an Israeli attack on the al-Mawasi area in southern Gaza killed a 23-year-old woman and her one-year-old daughter.
This comes as the Israeli military continued to violate the October 2025 ceasefire through shelling and gunfire across different parts of the territory.
According to the ministry, the death toll from Israeli violations of the truce has risen to 1,053, while 3,406 others have been injured.
The ministry said the overall toll from Israel's genocide has reached 73,066 killed and 173,514 wounded.
Beyond the casualties, the Israeli aggression has caused widespread destruction, damaging about 90% of Gaza's civilian infrastructure. The United Nations estimates the cost of reconstruction at around $70 billion.
Separately, in the occupied West Bank, 15-year-old Ahmad Jawad Jaber died on his way to hospital after being shot in the chest and head during an Israeli raid on the Umm al-Sharayit neighborhood in el-Bireh, near Ramallah, the Palestinian Health Ministry said.
Israeli rights group B'Tselem said in a report released on Monday that Israeli forces have killed 241 Palestinian children and teenagers in the West Bank since October 7, 2023.
