At least two young Palestinian men have been killed after Israeli forces shot and killed them in separate incidents across the Gaza Strip, as the Tel Aviv regime continues its acts of aggression against civilians in the coastal region despite an October 2025 ceasefire.
The official Palestinian WAFA news agency, citing medical sources, reported that Israeli troops fired live rounds at a youth, identified as Khalil Nasr, on Sunday morning while he was in the Halawa displacement camp in the northern Gaza city of Jabalia.
The same sources confirmed that he was later pronounced dead due to his grave injuries.
Hours earlier, another young Palestinian man was shot and killed by Israeli forces northwest of Rafah in the southern Gaza Strip.
Yousef Hassan was killed by gunfire from Israeli military vehicles stationed northwest of Rafah. His body was transferred to Nasser Medical Complex in Khan Younis.
This came after a child was injured by Israeli troops in the Mawasi area. Medical sources also announced the death of Ahmed Hani Obeid, 25, who succumbed to wounds he sustained in an Israeli strike on northern Gaza about a year ago.
According to the Gaza Health Ministry, the death toll in the Gaza Strip has reached 72,549 people, amid ongoing Israeli assaults since October 7, 2023.
Since the announcement of a ceasefire on October 11, 2025, at least 774 people have been killed and 2,171 injured, the ministry said.
These figures, combined with earlier records from the conflict that began on October 7, 2023, bring the total number of injured individuals to 172,274.
Humanitarian conditions in Gaza continue to deteriorate, with shortages of basic supplies and ongoing disruptions to essential services reported by local authorities.
The Government Media Office in Gaza stated that over the past six months, ceasefire violations have been documented 2,400 times, including incidents of shelling, gunfire, raids, and property damage.
