Crimes against humanity complaint filed against Netanyahu
The Indonesian members of the Sumud Flotilla have submitted a complaint to Indonesia's Attorney General's office, saying the Israeli regime has committed crimes against humanity, piracy, and unlawful detention.
This action is aimed at supporting Palestinian independence, which continues to face genocide, blockade, and horrific events in Gaza and the West Bank.
We have collected and submitted our evidence and documentation, including photographs of injuries, medical examination reports, and a complete account of the events.

The lawyer representing the activists said that the complaint names Benjamin Netanyahu as the person responsible for the operations carried out by the regime's forces.
The activists were subjected to severe acts of brutality by Israeli soldiers, including electric shocks, being kicked on the head, beatings, and harassment.

The nine Indonesian citizens were members of the Sumud Flotilla, which was intercepted and seized by Israeli forces last May while attempting to deliver humanitarian aid to the Gaza Strip, along with more than 400 activists from different countries.
We have submitted nine separate complaints from each volunteer.
Some were subjected to electric shocks.
Some had their heads stepped on.
Others were beaten and kicked, and some also experienced harassment.

The release of images showing the detained activists from the flotilla with their hands tied and in humiliating conditions sparked widespread international condemnation.
Following the release of these images, France, Italy, and Australia also launched independent judicial investigations into the treatment of the flotilla members by the Israeli regime.
The complaint has been filed as the siege on the Gaza Strip and restrictions imposed by the Israeli regime on the entry of humanitarian aid continue.
