Palestinian resistance forces have discovered and seized a number of Israeli spying devices inside makeshift tents set up by refugees in the southern flank of the Gaza Strip.
According to Palestinian media, citing an unnamed security officer in the coastal region, Israeli intelligence operatives had camouflaged the devices through various methods, and in some cases had hidden them inside rocks.
The officer noted that Israeli intelligence forces may have used quadcopters to drop the spying devices in the vicinity of the tents whilst the refugees were not around.
He urged Gazans not to come close to any suspicious devices and immediately report the case to security forces.
The Gaza Health Ministry has announced that the death toll in the Gaza Strip has reached 72,344 people amid the ongoing Israeli aggression since October 7, 2023.
Since the announcement of a ceasefire on October 11, 2025, at least 765 people have been killed and 2,140 injured, the ministry said.
These figures, combined with earlier records from the genocidal war that began on October 7, 2023, bring the total number of injured individuals to 172,242.
Humanitarian conditions in Gaza continue to deteriorate, with shortages of basic supplies and ongoing disruptions to essential services reported by local authorities.
