The Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC) has announced the achievements of the latest waves of its Operation True Promise 4 in retaliation to the Israeli regime's and the US's unprovoked aggression against the Islamic Republic.
In a statement on Sunday, the Corps noted that the "seventh and eighth waves" the reprisal featured successive missile launches and large-scale drone deployments against American and Zionist targets.
They resulted in missile strikes on three US and British oil tankers, the shutdown of key American naval facilities in Kuwait, heavy damage to a US base in Bahrain, and hundreds of American military casualties, it noted.

According to the statement, three trespassing US and British oil tankers in the Persian Gulf and the Strait of Hormuz were struck using missiles, causing them to become "completely" engulfed in fire.
The statement described the strikes as part of continued operations against maritime targets linked to the hostile enemy.

The IRGC said the US's Ali Al-Salem naval base in Kuwait was “completely forced out of operation” following the latest strikes. It also reported destruction of three maritime American infrastructural facilities at the Mohammed Al-Ahmad Naval Base in Kuwait.
In Bahrain, the US naval base in Mina Salman was struck with four drones, causing severe damage to its command and support centers.
The whereabouts of US forces in Bahrain was also targeted with two ballistic missiles, while other American bases across the region were subjected to successive counterattacks.
The statement said the strikes have so far resulted in 560 US military personnel getting killed and wounded.
Psychological pressure and continuation of operations
Referring to continuous ambulance sirens at American and Zionist bases, as well as field reports and intelligence monitoring, the Corps said it was witnessing a “psychological crisis” among US troops and illegal Zionist settlers.
It warned that with the intensification of targeted pressure by Iran’s Armed Forces, the troops and the settlers would come under even more pressure.
The statement concluded by reiterating that missile and drone counteroffensives were continuing in a sustained and widespread manner, adding that further details of the achievements of the Iranian servicemen would be communicated to the public in due course.
The announcement followed ascension to martyrdom of Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei during the imposed aggression that began on Saturday.
Earlier strike on USS Abraham Lincoln
The Corps' statement also followed an earlier announcement in which it said it had targeted the USS Abraham Lincoln aircraft carrier with four ballistic missiles.

It stated that the carrier was "successfully targeted," pledging that both land and sea would become a “graveyard for the aggressors.”
Iranian forces began Operation True Promise 4, a sequel to their previous successful instances of large-scale reprisal against the Israeli regime and the United States, shortly after the launch of the latest bout of unlawful aggression by the allies against the Iranian soil.
According to Iran’s Red Crescent Society, hundreds of people have been killed in the enemy strikes so far, including more than 100 children who were killed in an attack on an elementary school in the southern province of Hormozgan.
