'No to disarmament'
The Leader of the Hezbollah movement has vowed to defend Lebanon's existence, saying the resistance is inseparable from the Lebanese land and people. Sheikh Qassem said Hezbollah's role is to counter aggression, while preventing war is the obligation of the Lebanese state. He said the resistance is ready to fully cooperate with the army to establish Lebanon’s sovereignty but it will not surrender to the Israeli enemy. Sheikh Qassem slammed the US and Israel for openly demanding a monopoly on arms to weaken Lebanon. He said this is within the context of Israel's "Greater Israel" project, warning that surrender would lead to Lebanon ceasing to exist. He called on the Lebanese state to stop making concessions and to implement existing agreements first. His televised remarks were made during a large female gathering in Lebanon on the occasion of the birth anniversary of Lady Fatimah, the daughter of the Prophet of Islam.
Israel blocking Gaza aid
Israeli violations of the ceasefire agreement in Gaza has caused more casualties as regime forces launch fresh strikes across the war-ravaged strip. At least six Palestinians were killed and several others injured after an Israeli airstrike hit a vehicle on al-Rashid Street, southwest of Gaza City. The regime claims it targeted a key Hamas member but the resistance movement says all six fatalities were civilians. Earlier, two other people were killed in Israeli attacks and another body was recovered from under the rubble. Since the start of the ceasefire in October, nearly 390 people have been killed and over a thousand others injured. That brings the death toll since Israel began its genocidal war against Gaza in 2023 to nearly 70,660 while more than 171,100 others have been injured. Meanwhile, harsh winds, relentless rain and collapsing structures have resulted in the death of ten people in recent days as the humanitarian crisis deepens.
Targeting Israeli 'criminals'
The pro-Palestinian hacking group Handala has published the identities of 13 more Israeli criminals involved in the regime's missile system production. According to the group, those named are among the principal designers of Israel’s so-called ‘Arrow’ and ‘David’s Sling’ missile systems. The group said it is offering a reward of 30-thousand dollars for information valuable about these individuals. Handala added that the disclosures show Israeli vulnerabilities and individuals previously protected by layers of secrecy are now exposed. The group also issued a message directed at Israeli engineers, saying the regime cannot ensure their protection. Handala had previously released information about the designers of the Iron Dome system and personnel in Israel’s military, aerospace, and technology sectors.
