Gaza rising death toll

The US-led Israeli genocide continues across the Gaza strip, claiming more innocent civilians' lives. Since this morning, Israeli airstrikes and artillery shelling have killed some 40 Palestinians across the Gaza Strip. The bombardment stretches from Khan Yunis, where seven were killed, to Gaza City’s al-Tuffah neighborhood, where three lives were lost. In al-Rimal, the wounded were rushed to al-Shifa Hospital following a strike, while shelling in al-Zeitoun left victims trapped beneath the rubble. In southern Gaza, five Palestinians including two children were killed near a US aid center.

Unprecedented tragedy in Gaza

The leader of Yemen's Ansarullah resistance movement has condemned the Israeli regime’s starvation policy and the surge of aggression on Gaza over the past week. Abdul Malik Al Houthi warned that the Israeli regime’s barbaric actions are targeting Palestinian children. He described the global silence as a shame for all international institutions. The Yemeni leader called out the US and Europe for their complicity in the Israeli genocide against Palestinians in Gaza. Houthi also slammed Arab states for their inaction in the face of mass starvation in Gaza, which has allowed Israel to carry out crimes without any fear of consequences. Abdul-Malik al-Houthi emphasized that the Yemeni people will continue their active support for Gaza on all fronts.

Calls for sanctions on Israel

Over sixty European Parliament members demand immediate economic sanctions and a two-way arms embargo against Israel. In a letter to EU foreign policy chief Kaja Kallas, the lawmakers called for an end to the EU complicity in starvation and genocide. They said last week's EU-Israel agreement has completely failed to improve conditions on the ground. The letter also calls for targeted sanctions against officials from the Gaza Humanitarian Foundation who are responsible for many deaths in Gaza. The lawmakers also urged the suspension of the EU-Israel Association Agreement. Former EU Ambassador James Moran has confirmed the agreement covers 30% of Israel's global commerce, giving the EU significant leverage. However, he says Germany and several other member states continue blocking such measures.
