Tens of thousands of people rally toward the US embassy in central London to demand an immediate halt to Israel’s hostilities in the Gaza Strip.

The rally, organised by the Palestine Solidarity Campaign (PSC), made its way from Hyde Park Corner to the US Embassy in Nine Elms on Saturday.

A large number of police forces are already deployed in London.

The Metropolitan Police said its officers will again be supported by colleagues from forces across the country.

The police said the march must end by 17:00 GMT.

Saturday’s rally is the tenth demonstration since Israel launched its bloody camping in Palestinian’s homeland in early October.

Also at the march was former Labour leader Jeremy Corbyn.

He said the demonstration was "enormous and we're here because we're appalled at the bombing that's still going on in Gaza.”

The rally follows comments by former Home secretary Suella Braverman who described the demonstrations as “hate marches.”

The government’s commissioner for counter-extremism, Robin Simcox, also wrote in the Daily Telegraph on Friday that London had been “permitted to be turned into a no-go zone for Jews every weekend.”

March organizer Ben Jamal described the no-go zone comments "disgraceful.”

Dame Sara Khan, a UK government adviser on social cohesion also warned that attempts to portray protesters on pro-Palestinian rallies as extremist were “outrageous” and dangerous.

Hundreds of thousands of people have been regularly massing on the streets of the British capital to call for an end to Israel’s genocidal war, which has so far claimed the lives of nearly 31,000 Palestinians in the besieged territory.
