'Enemies failed to reach goals'
The chief commander of Iran’s Army says the Islamic Republic has stood firm in the face of enemies and has not allowed them to achieve their objectives. Major General Amir Hatami said the enemies tried to dismantle Iran’s missile and drone capabilities, but a barrage of those weapons were launched toward their positions during the imposed war. The top Iranian commander said that those who initiate a war are normally considered victorious when they reach their goals. According to General Hatami, thwarting an enemy from achieving its military objectives amounts to victory for the country that is defending itself against aggression. Hatami made the remarks while six months have passed since the US and Israel waged an unprovoked war on Iran. A countless number of analysts believe that none of their goals were realized.
Iran Hormuz Strait control
The Naval Force of the Islamic Revolution Guards Corps says the Iranian armed forces maintain full control over the Strait of Hormuz. In a statement, the IRGC Navy said the Hormuz Strait is closed to ships attempting to transit via the waterway without coordination with the Islamic Republic. The statement described as an outright lie, American officials’ claim that the Hormuz Strait is open. It added that they make such claims with the aim of controlling oil prices and keeping a lid on their failures. The IRGC Navy underlined that the current situation of the Hormuz Strait will continue until the US terrorist Army puts an end to its roguery against Iran and fulfills its commitments.
Israel Gaza strikes
More death and destruction in the Gaza Strip as Israeli attacks continue across the war-ravaged territory. In one of the latest incidents, a Palestinian has been killed in Israeli gunfire in Deir al-Balah, central Gaza. Casualties were also reported in attack on vehicles in the city of Khan Yunis located in the south.
