IRGC releases photographic evidence debunking CENTCOM’s claims of "zero damage" in Jordan strike
The Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC) has released photographic evidence directly contradicting recent claims by the US Central Command (CENTCOM) regarding the effectiveness of Iranian retaliatory strikes.
The newly published images show clear impact damage to a major maintenance and repair hangar for US fighter jets at the Muwaffaq Salti Air Base, proving that Iranian precision munitions successfully penetrated the base’s defenses.
The release comes in direct response to CENTCOM’s earlier statement, which had asserted that all Iranian missiles launched during the operation were intercepted by US air defense systems and that no aircraft or equipment within the base had sustained any damage.
Initial imagery provided by the IRGC clearly depicts structural damage to the roof and interior of the specialized hangar used for servicing advanced US warplanes. The visual evidence serves as a stark rebuttal to the Pentagon’s attempt to downplay the severity of the strike.
In a message accompanying the photos, the IRGC stated, "It is better to stop the intense censorship and provide accurate data to the world so that people can judge for themselves and see live what we mean when we say 'the aggressor will be punished', and that this punishment happens immediately."
Earlier, CENTCOM had rejected an IRGC statement that it has destroyed three US F-35 stealth fighter jets and three other aircraft during an Iranian attack on the base, claiming that no US aircraft were destroyed or damaged in the recent Iranian attacks, and that all missiles and drones were intercepted or failed to reach their targets.
The publication of these images underscores a growing gap between US military public relations narratives and the reality on the ground.
While CENTCOM has consistently claimed a 100% interception rate to maintain an image of invulnerability, the IRGC’s documentation suggests that Iranian missile technology has successfully bypassed layered defense networks, including Patriot and THAAD systems, to strike high-value strategic assets.
The Jordan base is a critical logistical node for US air operations in the region, housing some of the most advanced fighter jets in the American arsenal.
Damage to its maintenance infrastructure not only represents a significant financial loss but also disrupts the operational readiness of US forces deployed in West Asia.
