Iranian Armed Forces resoluteness

Iran’s retaliatory strikes will continue until the enemy’s complete surrender and as long as revenge for the blood of children killed in US-Israeli attacks is not taken. That’s according to Iran’s security chief. In a message, the Secretary of the Supreme National Security Council pointed to US-Israeli attacks in the southern cities of Minab and Lamerd during the 40-day war that took the lives of innocent Iranian kids. Mohammad Bagher Zolghadr said every column of smoke in the region shows that a US military, security, or financial facility has been targeted. Earlier, the commander of Iran’s central military command issued a warning, saying that for every Iranian citizen killed by the US, one American service member will be sent to hell. Around 60 people and over 600 others have lost their lives in the renewed acts of aggression by the US on Iran in a matter of two weeks. The IRGC and the Iranian Army have responded to the attacks by targeting US military assets in the region.

US troublesome military presence

Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi says Iran has seen no sign of goodwill from the United States, stressing that it is Washington that has pushed recent developments toward confrontation. Araghchi said the U-S intended to steer the situation toward tension, believing that it could weaken Iran’s sovereignty and control over the Strait of Hormuz. He noted that Tehran remains in constant contact with regional countries, emphasizing that Iran holds no hostility toward them. However, he expressed concern that during the 40-day war against Iran, and even afterwards, facilities in some neighboring states were used by the US against Iran. Araghchi argued that countries cannot rely on external powers to purchase security while their neighbors face instability or economic strain. Iran's top diplomat added that it has become clearer to some regional governments that the presence of US military bases has not brought greater stability, and in certain cases, has become a source of insecurity.

Yemen warns Saudi Arabia

The Yemeni armed forces have launched missile and drone strikes against Saudi Arabia, in retaliation for Saudi airstrikes on Yemeni cities. According to reports, at least five explosions rocked the southern Saudi city of Jazan after ballistic missiles struck Aramco oil facilities in the city's industrial area. Power outages have also been reported across the city. Explosions were also reported in the southern city of Yanbu, near the city's airport. Airports in both cities have suspended operations following the attacks. The retaliation came after Riyadh launched strikes on Yemen’s Hodeidah port and Kamaran Island. Tensions between Sana'a and Riyadh escalated following Saudi attacks on Sana’a airport in mid-July. In response, Yemen imposed a naval blockade targeting the kingdom's oil exports. Spokesman for the Yemeni Armed Forces vows that the maritime blockade on Saudi Arabia remains in place following attacks on Yemen, adding that Yemen will not hesitate to escalate in response to developments.
