A senior member of Ansarullah’s political bureau has announced that Yemen is fully coordinating with the Axis of Resistance, describing the escalating US-Israeli aggression against Iran, Lebanon, Iraq, and Yemen as a single war targeting countries that support Palestine.
“We are concerned with what is happening today in the region, and we are in full coordination within the Axis of Resistance,” Mohammad al-Bukhaiti said on Saturday.
Al-Bukhaiti said Yemen was preparing to end the blockade imposed on the country, adding that “the battle Yemen is preparing for today is part of the battle in the region.”
He reiterated that Yemen’s military operations are carried out in support of the Palestinian people and in response to the continuing Israeli genocide in Gaza.
He further warned that governments hosting US military bases used to launch attacks on Iran should be regarded as participants in the aggression, saying those bases have enabled repeated US strikes on Iranian civilian and strategic infrastructure.
The remarks came as Washington renewed its aggression against Iran after violating the Islamabad Memorandum of Understanding (MoU), carrying out repeated strikes on residential neighborhoods, bridges, ports, airports, water facilities, and maritime infrastructure across the country.
On Friday, US forces destroyed a maritime observation tower in Chabahar after striking it three times over several days, eliminating a facility that regulated maritime traffic and coordinated rescue operations for fishermen.
Iran has responded through successive waves of missile and drone attacks under Operation Nasr 2, targeting US military bases, surveillance systems, aircraft, weapons depots, and logistical facilities in several regional countries.
On Saturday, the Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC) announced that it had struck fighter shelters and an aircraft parking area at the US base in Azraq, Jordan, destroying at least two US fighter jets and three other military aircraft while damaging several more.
US Central Command later acknowledged that two American soldiers were killed, one remained missing, and four others were wounded following the Iranian strike on the base in Jordan on July 17.
Iran has repeatedly warned that any US base used to launch attacks against Iran will be treated as a legitimate military target, while urging governments hosting American forces to activate civil defense measures and keep civilians away from those installations as US-Israeli aggression continues to expand across the region.
