On Monday, the headquarters for the commemoration of martyred Leader Ayatollah Khamenei announced a six-day funeral schedule spanning five cities, beginning with a two-day farewell ceremony in Tehran on July 4 and concluding with burial in Mashhad on July 9.

It said a funeral procession will be held in Iraq on Wednesday, July 8, following repeated requests from Iraqi tribes, scholars, elites, and political and religious figures.
