Israel has killed six Palestinians and injured eight others in strikes across the Gaza Strip as ceasefire violations continue unabated, and families are enduring severe shortages and widespread destruction.

According to Gaza's Health Ministry, hospitals in the war-ravaged coastal territory received six bodies over the past 24 hours, whilst eight people were admitted to medical facilities to receive treatment.

The toll included five Palestinians killed in Israeli attacks, and another victim who later succumbed to earlier injuries.

The ministry said additional victims remain trapped beneath rubble of destroyed buildings, and ambulance and civil defense teams have not yet been able to access them.

The latest fatalities bring the number of Palestinians killed since the declaration of the ceasefire on October 11, 2025 to at least 904, alongside more than 2,710 injuries.

Meanwhile, dozens of displaced Palestinians gathered in central Gaza on Sunday to protest worsening hunger, food shortages and restrictions on humanitarian aid entering the Strip.

The protesters demanded unrestricted humanitarian aid access and the reopening of crossings.

Participants raised Palestinian flags and banners, condemning worsening living conditions and food shortages.

Several demonstrators carried empty cooking pots, symbolizing the deepening hunger crisis facing families throughout Gaza.

Ali al-Shashniya, coordinator and spokesman for tribal and popular committees in al-Bureij refugee camp, said humanitarian conditions continue deteriorating under the blockade and ongoing shortages.

He said thousands of displaced Palestinians now rely almost entirely on humanitarian assistance to meet daily needs, warning that conditions could worsen if restrictions remain.

Hassan Rayyan, a displaced Palestinian from northern Gaza, also described the situation which many families who have lost homes and livelihoods are wrestling with.

“We want to live with dignity. We lost our homes and our humanitarian situation has become extremely difficult,” he said.

International agencies continue to warn about severe food insecurity throughout Gaza.

According to the World Food Programme (WFP), approximately 1.6 million Palestinians — representing 77 percent of Gaza’s population — face severe levels of acute food insecurity.

The agency said the figures include more than 100,000 children and approximately 37,000 pregnant and breastfeeding women.

Gaza’s Health Ministry says the Israeli genocidal war in the besieged region since October 7, 2023, has killed at least 72,797 Palestinians and left 172,821 others wounded.
