IRGC commander says Netanyahu’s ‘holiday gift’ to settlers was sirens, fear under Iranian strikes

Brigadier General Majid Mousavi, commander of the Aerospace Force of the Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC)

A senior commander of the Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC) highlights the abysmal conditions that are faced by Zionist settlers as a result of Iran's decisive retaliation against unprovoked aggression triggered by Israeli prime minister Benjamin Netanyahu.

Brigadier General Majid Mousavi, commander of the IRGC's Aerospace Force, made the remarks in a Hebrew-language post on X on Wednesday.

"Repeated sirens and shaking inside shelters' narrow and dark basements as Iran rains down missiles; this was part of Netanyahu’s holiday gift to the Zionists," he wrote on the eve of the Passover holiday.

On February 28, the Israeli regime and the United States began their latest bout of unprovoked aggression against the Islamic Republic following numerous reports of Netanyahu's having played a key role in promoting the aggression.

Momentarily afterwards, the Corps unleashed its ongoing retaliatory Operation True Promise 4 against sensitive and strategic Israeli and American targets.

Right before the commander posted the comments, the IRGC waged the 89th wave of the operation, firing more than 100 heavy missiles and attack drones along with 200 rockets across a radius of tens of thousands of kilometers, targeting American and Zionist positions throughout the occupied territories and the wider West Asia region.

The coordinated operations – described by the Israeli regime as the biggest to have targeted the territories throughout the Iranian reprisal – was carried out in conjunction with other Iranian armed forces and regional resistance movements.

According to the IRGC's Public Relations Office, strikes targeted military objectives and terrorist forces of the Zionist regime in Eilat, Tel Aviv, and Bnei Brak, with local sources reporting heavy Zionist casualties.

The Corps has vowed to sustain the reprisal until the adversaries' "complete defeat."
