Yemen’s Ansarullah resistance movement has mourned the martyrdom of Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei, describing the tragedy as a “great loss” for the Muslim world brought about by American and Israeli aggressors.
In a speech delivered in the capital Sana’a on Sunday, the movement's leader Abdul Malik al-Houthi extended condolences to Ayatollah Khamenei’s survivors, the Iranian people, the Islamic Republic's official institutions, and the Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC).
Al-Houthi described the Leader as "the eminent, godly scholar," who was assassinated by "the enemies of Islam and Muslims—the criminal, arrogant tyrants of this age, the Americans and the Israelis—during a treacherous assault on the Muslim Iranian people."
Ayatollah Khamanei's martyrdom took place in an assault on his office in the Iranian capital Tehran on Saturday, the first day of the latest round of Israeli-American aggression against the Islamic Republic.

The aggression has also claimed the lives of hundreds of other Iranians, including more than 100 children, who perished during a strike on a school in southern Iran.
Call for steadfastness, continued confrontation
In his address, al-Houthi characterized the assassination as an attempt to remove a central obstacle to Israeli dominance in the region.
“What is required of the Iranian Muslim people, their courageous Revolution Guards, and their official institutions is loyalty to this pure blood and steadfastness upon the path of freedom, dignity, and defiance,” he said.
Al-Houthi stated that the martyrdom “should become a powerful motivation to continue the journey with faith-driven steadfastness."
He said the current situation in the aftermath of the Leader's martyrdom offered a choice between submission to “American-Israeli tyranny” or reliance upon God and confrontation with oppression.
The Ansarullah leader, however, asserted that “the Iranian position is cohesive and firm, and the Iranian response is strong and ongoing,” referring to at least eight waves of retaliatory strikes that have so far followed the resumption of Israeli-American aggression against Iran.
The Iranian people, the regional Axis of Resistance, and “all free people of the world” remain committed to the path of liberation, he concluded.
