Iran captures riot ringleaders
At least 200 ringleaders of recent riots in Iran have been arrested, and a significant cache of weapons, ammunition, grenades, and Molotov cocktails was discovered from their safe houses. That’s according to field reports from Tasnim News Agency, which also pointed to the presence of operational teams linked to terrorist groups among the rioters. These teams were often equipped with firearms and explosive devices. They used the riots as cover to plan attacks on sensitive government, military, and security sites. Their actions, including firing toward security personnel and civilians, have resulted in several fatalities. The arrests contributed to a noticeable decline in riots on Friday. Interrogations have revealed that some detainees had been in contact with a terrorist organization and received instructions and equipment. Many of those arrested had traveled to the capital from western provinces. Meanwhile, the IRGC Intelligence Organization says it has arrested a foreign national spying for the Israeli regime.
Mossad role in Iran riots
The hacking group, Handala, has released the identities of 600 Mossad-linked agents instigating riots in Iran. In a statement, Handala said those named attempted to turn the demonstrations into broader insecurity. Handala noted that the documents it obtained include several figures already known to the authorities. The group further asserted that Israel has failed in efforts to create disorder. This comes after Handala earlier announced a major breach into Mossad’s Iran desk. The group said it monitored a senior officer identified as Mehrdad Rahimi who oversaw Iranian agents working for Mossad. According to Handala, Rahimi believed he was securely directing covert networks, while in reality he had been under surveillance for months.
4th day of anti-ICE protests in US
Protests against the Immigration and Customs Enforcement continue in several US states for the fourth day, with protesters demanding justice for a woman killed by ICE. Some demonstrators also gathered outside a federal building in the city of Minneapolis, where tensions rose as authorities pushed the crowd back. Democrat Lawmakers Ilhan Omar and Angie Craig briefly joined the protest before entering the building. The rallies are among more than one-thousand weekend events planned nationwide. The protesters are demanding an end to expanded ICE deployments ordered by President Donald Trump. Minneapolis has become the focal point after a 37‑year‑old mother of three was shot and killed by an ICE officer during a traffic stop on Wednesday. Since then, the US has seen protests in multiple cities demanding that ICE leave their cities.
