Press TV correspondent injured by Israeli rubber bullets in West Bank live coverage

A Press TV correspondent in the occupied West Bank was injured after Israeli forces fired rubber bullets while she was reporting live from a refugee camp.

The correspondent, Naqqa Hamed, was covering the latest Israeli raid on the Qalandia camp, north of al-Quds, at the time she was shot on Tuesday.

Her general conditions have been reported to be fine despite the injury.

Occupation forces have taken control of all neighborhoods of the camp and arrested some young men.

Bulldozers accompanying the forces have also demolished commercial facilities in the vicinity of the Qalandia camp.

Earlier in the day, Israeli forces had also targeted news crews with tear gas and stun grenades during coverage of the raids in the area.

Israel has been advancing a major settlement project in the Qalandia area, widely viewed as an attempt to completely separate northern al-Quds from Ramallah and its Palestinian hinterland.
