Gaza ceasefire agreement

Hamas has reaffirmed its commitment to the Gaza ceasefire agreement, warning that repeated Israeli violations threaten the deal’s successful implementation. Hamas said the ceasefire agreement was intended to halt the killing of civilians, but more than 240 people have been killed since it took effect. The movement also criticized the limited flow of humanitarian aid into Gaza, noting that only 150 to 200 trucks are allowed to enter daily, which is far below the 600 figure that was agreed upon. Hamas emphasized that Gazans continue to suffer from famine and health crises due to ongoing shortages of food and medicine caused by the Israeli blockade. It urged the international community to pressure Israel to reopen Gaza’s crossings, including the Rafah crossing. Hamas added that it has informed mediators that it is ready to withdraw its fighters from the Yellow Zone, and finalize the issue of Palestinian prisoners’ bodies as soon as possible.

Israel war on media

A new report by the Palestinian Journalists Syndicate has shed light on Israel’s systematic targeting of Palestinian journalists in Gaza during its months-long genocidal war on the territory. According to the report, 44 out of 254 media workers killed by Israel between October 2023 and October 2025 were targeted inside displacement tents. The findings are based on verified data and documented incidents, including the shelling of journalists’ tents near hospitals and UN-run shelters, as well as sniper fire in displacement areas. The report also detailed systematic attacks on Gaza’s media infrastructure and the targeting of journalists in their homes and bedrooms. It stressed that the deliberate targeting of civilian journalists constitutes a war crime under the Geneva Conventions. The report called for an independent international commission to be established to investigate such crimes.

Israel West Bank atrocities

Several Palestinian rights groups have raised the alarm about a sharp uptick in Israel’s repression of Palestinians in the occupied West Bank. They say the regime’s forces have abducted 442 Palestinians across the territory in October. The announcement was made by the Commission of Detainees and Ex-Detainees Affairs, the Palestinian Prisoner's Society, and Addameer Prisoner Support and Human Rights Association. They said there were three women and 33 children among the Palestinians abducted. The organizations said Israeli forces’ West Bank raids are marked with widespread field interrogations in addition to assaults by Israeli settlers. The rights groups said Israel keeps Palestinians in prison for years, in many cases without trials or charges. They added that a total of about 20,500 Palestinian have been abducted since the start of the year, including about 600 women and over 1,600 children. The report came after the UN humanitarian office declared October 2025 as the most violent month in nearly 20 years in terms of attacks on Palestinians in the West Bank.
