The media bureau of the Yemeni Military has released a video featuring the fate of surviving crew members from the Eternity C cargo ship targeted earlier this month after violating the naval blockade imposed on Israeli ports in the occupied Palestinian territories.
The footage shows Yemeni naval forces conducting a two-day search and rescue operation following the July 9 incident in the Red Sea.
The operation resulted in the rescue of 11 crew members, including two wounded sailors who received medical treatment. One body was recovered and transported to a hospital morgue.
According to statements from the surviving crew, the vessel was en route to the Port of Eilat in direct violation of the naval ban declared by Sana’a.
The crew admitted to using Jeddah Port in Saudi Arabia as a decoy stop for resupply, while their actual departure point was Berbera in Somalia.
In the video, the rescued crew members directly addressed global shipping companies, warning against engagement in commercial activity with the occupying Israeli regime.
They emphasized the importance of keeping ship identification systems active while sailing through the Red Sea and urged maritime operators to avoid supporting the Tel Aviv regime.
Some crew members expressed regret that their ship had been bound for Israeli ports, offering apologies to the Palestinian nation and reaffirming that they were unaware of the full implications of their voyage at the time.
As the genocidal war on Gaza escalated, the Yemenis enforced a strategic blockade on essential maritime routes, with the goal of obstructing the delivery of military supplies to Israel and urging the international community to take action regarding the ongoing humanitarian emergency in Gaza.
The Yemeni Armed Forces have declared they will not stop their assaults unless Israel ceases its ground and aerial offensives in Gaza.
