Intelligence blow to Israel
Iran’s intelligence minister says the country has managed to acquire thousands of sensitive and strategic documents from Israel in a complicated operation. Esmaeil Khatib says the acquisition of the documents will help Iran to enhance its offensive capabilities. The minister said the documents are not limited to the regime’s nuclear programs, adding that they also include information about its relations with the US, Europe and other countries. According to the minister, methods of the transfer of the documents into Iran will remain confidential. His remarks came a day after Iranian intelligence sources said that Tehran has acquired a wealth of sensitive intelligence from Israel. They said the abundance of documents is such that merely examining and reviewing them has taken a considerable amount of time.
Gaza freedom flotilla
Israel’s minister of military affairs has ordered the military to act against the Madleen vessel, as it approaches the Gaza Strip. Israel Katz made the threat as the regime tries to prevent the Freedom Flotilla to break the siege on Gaza. An activist on board the humanitarian vessel also informed that the boat is no longer correctly tracked because communication is jammed by the Israeli regime.
Ukraine-Russia war
Russia says it is pushing into a major industrial region in eastern Ukraine for the first time in three years since the beginning of the war between the two neighbors. The Russian Defence Ministry announced that forces had reached the western border of the Donetsk People’s Republic and were continuing an offensive further west into the industrial region. The Ministry also said that Russian forces had seized the village of Zoria in the Donetsk region. The latest developments come after Ukraine launched a drone attack overnight targeting Moscow, prompting the shutdown of two key airports. Russian air defense says it shot down nine drones with no reported damage. Debris was found at multiple sites across the capital.
