Iran military warning
Iran's central military command has warned that any country in the region serving as a defensive shield for the United States will burn in the flames of a regional war. The commander of Khatam al-Anbia central headquarters said Washington is using the wealth, critical infrastructure, and strategic resources of Muslim countries as a shield for its weakened military. Major General Ali Abdollahi added that the US, at the same time, strengthens the child-killing and terrorist Israeli regime’s war machine. He urged Muslim countries in the region to act with foresight, closely monitor US actions, and reconsider their cooperation and alignment with Washington. General Abdollahi said the United States and the Zionist regime resorted to a war of aggression after failing to achieve their illegitimate objectives. He made clear that the balance of power in the region no longer follows its previous dynamics due to the sacrifices of the Iranian people, the country’s Armed Forces, and resistance groups across the region.
Yemen backs siege-for-siege
Responding to a televised call by Ansarullah Leader Sayyid Abdul-Malik al-Houthi, hundreds of thousands of Yemenis flooded the streets of Sana’a and other governorates. The massive rallies reaffirmed public support for the military's "siege-for-siege" equation against Saudi Arabia's blockade on the country. They also fiercely condemned the joint US and Saudi deadly strikes on Iraq.
Russia-Ukraine war
Ukraine says at least nine people have been killed in fresh Russian strikes on the capital Kiev. Over 20 others have also been injured in the ballistic missile attacks. Ukrainian officials say the missiles hit several homes and a five-storey residential building. They also say that the attacks also sparked fires across Kiev and caused power outages in several areas. Russia has stepped up attacks on Kiev in recent months. That’s while the other side of the war, Ukraine, has carried out a number of strikes on the facilities belonging to Russia’s biggest online retailer.
