Iran-US indirect talks

The Iranian Foreign Minister has reiterated his country’s position regarding the indirect talks with the US, saying Washington’s insistence on zero uranium enrichment will yield no deal. Abbas Araghchi, however, noted that the two sides can reach a deal if “zero nuclear weapons” is discussed. He said the "path to a deal is not rocket science", adding that it’s time to decide. The top Iranian diplomat made the remarks in a social media post. He is now in the Italian capital Rome to attend the 5th round of indirect talks set to be held later today. Over the past days, some US officials have insisted on complete cessation of Iran's peaceful uranium enrichment activities. Tehran regards the enrichment an inalienable right, saying it will continue its enrichment program regardless of the outcome of the talks.

Yemen anti-Israel operations

The Yemeni armed forces have carried out a military operation, targeting Israel’s Ben Gurion airport with a hypersonic ballistic missile. Yayha Saree, Yemeni army Spokesman, said the operation has successfully achieved its objective, forcing large numbers of Israelis to seek shelters and halting airport operations. He vowed that Yemen’s operations will continue and escalate until Israel ends its aggression against Gaza and lifts the siege of the Palestinian territory. Saree also condemned silence on daily massacres in Gaza, calling it a moral disgrace. Since the start of the genocide in Gaza, Yemen has been a staunch supporter of Palestine, launching multiple missiles at Israel's vital targets, including its major ports.

US-Israel Gaza genocide

The genocidal war on Gaza claims more lives, as the Israeli military launches fresh attacks on residential areas. The latest Israeli strikes have killed at least 28 Palestinians since dawn on Friday. Among the victims are three people who lost their lives after a house was bombed east of Khan Yunis. At least four Palestinians were also killed in a drone attack on Deir al-Balah. The new fatalities are in addition to scores of people who lost their lives on Thursday. The death toll from the US-Israeli genocide in Gaza since October 2023 has topped 53,700, majority of the victims being women and children.
