No to US enrichment demand

Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei has dismissed as nonsense the US demand for zero enrichment. Referring to assertions that Iran must seek approval for enrichment, he firmly rejected such claims, stating that Iran does not wait for anyone’s permission. He emphasized that Iran has its own policies and methods and will pursue its path accordingly. Ayatollah Khamenei made these remarks during a ceremony honoring the late President Ebrahim Raisi and the victims of last year's tragic helicopter crash. He praised Raisi’s character, highlighting his unwavering stance against US bullying in diplomatic talks.

Iran remembers Raeisi

Iran marks the first anniversary of the martyrdom of late President Ebrahim Raeisi, who tragically lost his life in a helicopter crash alongside late Foreign Minister Hossein Amir Abdollahian. The helicopter carrying President Raeisi and his delegation went down due to bad weather in northwestern Iran. President Raeisi and his team were returning from a joint ceremony with Azerbaijan’s President Ilham Aliyev to inaugurate a dam on the Aras River bordering the two countries. Following the tragedy, Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei declared five days of national mourning. Millions of Iranians held nationwide rallies and farewell ceremonies to pay their respects to the late president. Ebrahim Raeisi was a steadfast advocate for social justice, and he was deeply committed to serving the Iranian nation. Raeisi’s policies in support of the Axis of Resistance had made him popular among the people of the region as well.

US-Israeli genocide in Gaza

Death and destruction continue to ravage Gaza as the Israeli military intensifies its relentless attacks across the blockaded territory. The regime’s forces bombed a house in Jabalia, north of Gaza, killing at least nine people. The southern city of Khan Yunis also witnessed Israeli airstrikes forcing Palestinians to flee from their tents. This brings the total number of Palestinians killed since the early hours of the morning to around 70. The killings come after a day of relentless bombardment by the Israeli forces in which at least 126 civilians were killed. According to Gaza officials, the overall death toll from the regime’s genocide since October 2023 is nearing 53,500.
