Juventus have rallied twice to widen the gap at the top of Serie A, with a 2-all draw against Atalanta at the Allianz Stadium.

Duvan Zapata put the visitors in front with a powerful shot from close range in the 16th minute.

But the hosts cancelled Atalanta’s lead, as Portuguese superstar Cristiano Ronaldo slotted home a penalty in the 55th minute.

Atalanta once again took the lead when Ruslan Malinovskiy put the ball home nicely from inside the box with 10 minutes remaining.

However, a handball call against Luis Muriel allowed Ronaldo to score his 28th goal in the league from the spot in the dying moments.

The result snapped Atalanta’s winning streak, while sealing the Old Lady’s spot at the top of the standings.
