Serie A: Fiorentina 1-4 Roma
AS Roma have cemented their 4th place in the Italian Serie A after thrashing Fiorentina 4-1 away from home.
Roma drew ahead in the 19th minute as Edin Dzeko tapped in an early goal from very close range, and 2 minutes later Aleksandar Kolarov made it 2-0 with a curling free kick.
Fiorentina managed to pull one back through Milan Badelj in the 34th minute, but the visitors diminished any hopes of a comeback for Fiorentina after the break as Lorenzo Pellegrini added the third with a brilliant shot from outside the box. And Nicolo Zaniolo added the fourth for Roma after a solo run from the centre-line to seal the 4-1 win for his side.
