Yemen retaliatory operations
Yemen’s Armed Forces spokesman announces a fresh missile attack on Saudi Arabia’s King Khalid International Airport in Riyadh. Yahya Saree said the forces also targeted Saudi Arabia’s East-West crude oil pipeline pumping stations with drones. Saree said two further military operations targeted Saudi-led coalition troop concentrations and weapons depots in the Salah al-Din area of Aden Governorate and the al-Waht area of Lahj Governorate, using several ballistic missiles. He further said the attacks left dozens of mercenaries dead or wounded. He said several military vehicles and weapons depots were also destroyed or set ablaze.
Gaza genocide
Israel carries out fresh attacks on the Gaza Strip, killing and injuring over a dozen Palestinians near Khan Yunis. The Israeli military conducted airstrikes and opened fire on Palestinians in Al Mawasi area, leaving three dead and at least ten injured. This comes only a day after the regime forces carried out multiple attacks across the Gaza Strip, killing several Palestinians. One of them was an 8-year-old girl. Israel has repeatedly violated the ceasefire agreed with Hamas in October 2025. The regime has killed nearly 75000 Palestinians in Gaza since it began its genocide in Gaza three years ago.
Brazil presidential election
Brazilian President Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva says he will not allow any US interference in his country’s affairs after securing re-election for a fourth term, defeating his right-wing rival, Flávio Bolsonaro, in a bitterly contested campaign. In his victory speech, Lula reiterated his defense of Brazil’s sovereignty, an issue pollsters believe helped secure his victory, as voters rejected what they viewed as US interference. He also said that the election reaffirmed democracy in Brazil. With all the votes counted, Lula had 51.79% of the votes, compared Bolsonaro's 48.21%. His rival Bolsonaro, however, has refused to accept the loss and said he would seek to annul the vote.
