Anti-government protesters rally outside Albanian prime minister's office

Anti-government protesters gather for a rally outside the Albanian Prime Minister's office in Tirana to protest Edi Rama's policicies. 

Some demonstrators throw stones at the education ministry building, while others set fire to chairs the prime minister's office puts outside to invite protesters to dialogue.

"Even if nothing changes for the moment, this will continue and the situation will be aggravated," says music teacher Ramina Maja. "The people cannot stand anymore this situation."

Meanwhile, Prime Minister Edi Rama is vowing a tougher line against the protesters who are calling for his resignation, saying that new fines would be introduced for violent demonstrations.
