Iran Hormuz Strait control

Iran’s foreign minister says security in West Asia should be established by the countries in the region, rejecting the presence of foreign players. Abbas Araghchi called for a common solution to ensure security with the participation of all regional countries. He added that all the issues in the region are interconnected, saying no one can expect peace in the entire region while there’s war and conflict in one part of it. Araghchi noted that the US failed to protect even its own interests in West Asia during the last two confrontations with Iran. He said figures released by the Pentagon disclose the extent of the damage to the US bases. Araghchi warned that any new aggression against Iran will lead to the same consequences for the aggressors. Regarding the Strait of Hormuz, the top Iranian diplomat underlined that the authorized routes and the management of the strategic waterway won’t be the same as the ones before the recent war.

Israeli crimes in Gaza

The Palestinian resistance movement, Hamas, has condemned Israel for trying to re-impose its policy of starvation and blockade on the people of Gaza, calling it a grave crime against civilians. The movement’s spokesperson, Hazem Qassem, said Israel’s move reveals the international community's failure to take effective steps to stop the regime’s crimes. He also slammed the so-called Gaza Board of Peace for being unable to ensure people’s access to food and humanitarian aid, and preventing Israel from using them as a tool for collective punishment. Qassem added that the lack of accountability for the previous crime of starvation has encouraged Israel to continue its violations, and has reinforced the regime’s sense of impunity. He called for international action to ensure the flow of humanitarian supplies into Gaza and hold those responsible for imposing the blockade and starvation on the war-torn territory accountable.

Israeli West Bank crackdown

Israeli forces have escalated their brutal crackdown on Palestinian families in the occupied West Bank city of al-Khalil, forcing hundreds of them from their homes. According to local sources, the regime’s forces have displaced around two thousand residents of al-Khalil, just a day after a shooting operation near the city. Israel’s minister of military affairs, Israel Katz, said the regime’s forces have evacuated about two thousand residents from al-Khalil, adding that "they will not be allowed to return.” Israel’s extremist minister, Bezalel Smotrich, also said he has personally ordered the immediate demolition of a row of Palestinian structures. The governor of al-Khalil told reporters that Israel’s operation has started in one neighborhood, but there is no guarantee that it will not expand. He called the regime’s operation a form of "collective punishment," adding that 150 families have been affected so far. However, the mayor of al-Khalil and local activists put that figure at 250.
