US warned of 'painful consequences'
The IRGC says Iran is prepared to respond to any renewed US aggression with greater force, warning of far more painful consequences for Washington. IRGC spokesperson Brigadier General Hossein Mohebbi says launching another war against Iran would be irrational for the United States. However, he warned that the threat remains real, as the Trump administration seeks a political victory ahead of midterm elections. General Mohebbi added that Iran relied mainly on old-generation weapons during the 40-day war but has since made significant military progress. He accused US mainstream media of concealing the reality of Washington’s foreign wars from the American public. The IRGC spokesman also dismissed US officials claims regarding division among Iranian leaders and a lack of cooperation as baseless. He said the propaganda is aimed at justifying Washington’s failures in the conflict.
