Rejecting US unilateralism
Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian has strongly rejected American unilateralism during a meeting with his Russian counterpart, Vladimir Putin, in Turkmenistan’s capital. Pezeshkian added that the US tries to impose its policies and views on all countries and is dictating its policies to others. Pezeshkian stressed that no single country should be allowed to impose its will on others. He said that while talks with the US are ongoing, Washington keeps attacking Iran even as proposals are being exchanged. Iran's president said Tehran has revised proposals it has received from the US and its final response will be relayed to Washington through mediators. He thanked Russia’s support for Iran both on a regional level and in the United Nations, stressing that Iran wants the war to end and its rights respected under international law. Putin, for his part, said Russia is ready to help resolve the ongoing conflicts in West Asia and will spare no effort in this regard. He noted that Iran-Russia trade volume grew by 21 percent last year and continues to rise.
Iran military power
A high-ranking Iranian military official says the country managed to defeat its enemies during the recent US-Israeli aggression by using military innovations and asymmetrical defense tactics. In a televised interview, Iran's Defense Ministry spokesman, Brigadier General Reza Talaei-Nik, said the US-Israeli enemies used intense firepower and cutting-edge military technology provided by hundreds of the most advanced companies. He added that despite their high firepower, advanced technology, and assistance from regional allies, they were defeated by Iran's military innovations and asymmetrical defense, as well as economic defense. Talaei-Nik said Iran overcame its enemies’ expensive and high-end weapons using less expensive, but more effective, weapons. He added that production of defense equipment never stopped, even for a single day, during the US-Israeli aggression, and increased 2.5 times by Iran's own knowledge-based companies.
Israel targeting Gaza hospitals
The Palestinian resistance movement, Hamas, has once again raised the alarm over Israel’s latest claims about the presence of its fighters in Gaza’s hospitals, calling them mere lies and fabrications. The movement said the regime previously used such allegations to justify its systematic destruction of civilian infrastructure in Gaza, especially hospitals. It added that the incitement by the terrorist Israeli army against the remaining hospitals in Gaza, indicates the regime's intention to repeat its brutal crimes. Hamas said the regime’s dangerous campaign against Gaza’s hospitals, after targeting and destroying most of the territory’s medical centers, constitutes a documented war crime and an extension of the ongoing genocide. The movement called on the World Health Organization and the international press to enter Gaza, and also called for the formation of UN committees to inspect Gaza’s hospitals and refute the regime’s claims. Hamas said the international community must take measures to protect hospitals, break their siege, help rebuild them, and bring necessary and life-saving medical supplies into Gaza.
