South Korean residents in border areas near the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea are calling for calm after a blast in the demilitarized zone injured three South Korean soldiers.

Citing circumstantial evidence, the South Korean military has held the DPRK responsible for the blast and vowed to take corresponding measures.
