Hundreds of protesters have reportedly been detained in the Indian capital New Delhi during a demonstration demanding the resignation of the country's Chief Election Commissioner.
The protest, called by student body, targeted alleged irregularities in voter-list revisions and raised broader concerns about electoral transparency and the right to peaceful dissent.
